It’s time for our third Birthstone Cat Mat Collection reveal!
March has started with some nice cat TV and snacks for the kitties. They have been dutifully helping with Cat Mat production for our Birthstone Cat Mat Collection. The kitties are super are excited to reveal our March Birthstone Cat Mat, based on Aquamarine.
March: Aquamarine
Meaning “sea-water,” Aquamarine symbolizing youth, hope, and health. March’s birthstone is the perfect stone to welcome the start of spring.
As part of the beryl group of minerals, Aquamarine is related to Emerald. This stone can range from pale blue to a deep blue or blue-green.
The first documentation of the Aquamarine gemstone comes from Greece around 480 to 300 BCE. Aquamarine amulets were worn by sailors for protection against the ocean. Many of the amulets were engraved with Poseidon’s chariot for extra protection.
Very Important: the Cat Mat Details
This Cat Mat is of a standard size — approximately 16 inches by 16 inches. It is a square shaped pet blanket that is perfect for cat trees, pet beds, or carriers.
As always, this Cat Mat is machine washable and can be dried in the drier without issue.
