Insights From a Move: Organization & Creativity

I have never been very good at staying organized, despite my best efforts, so moving the remaining furniture and boxes from my law school apartment into our new apartment (which I discussed a few posts ago) has been rather overwhelming. How did I accumulate so much stuff?! Well, I know how it happened, but still….

The kitties are pleased to have their toys, Cat Balls, and cat trees back, and I’m happy to have the remaining items from my closet with me, as well as my yarn.

Keeping track of all my Critter Crafting items has not been easy, though. Luckily, I have space in my car to keep the bulk of my CC necessities, which has worked out. I’ve also come across a few forgotten Cat Mats that I made a while back, meant to list, and then got distracted, like this Hot Pink Cat Mat. So, hey, something new!

I’ve always been a cluttered person, and I have a hard time getting rid of things, but my new goal with this new apartment – besides making Olivia and Emory tolerate each other – is going to be to come up with an ACTUAL system for my creative supplies.

Until I can get that up and running, and once I finish this super cute custom order Cat Mat Pillow Case for a friend of a friend, I’m going to try to crochet my way through some of my LITERAL boxes of yarn.
